What is Glice curling?

The Glice Eisstock curling system.

Glice curling uses the Eisstock system — a fun, accessible form of curling that’s played on the same synthetic ice surface as a Glice skating rink. It’s easier to pick up than traditional curling, suitable for all ages and abilities and a brilliant way to add variety and extend dwell time at your venue or event.

It can be set up as a standalone curling lane, or incorporated alongside a Glice skating rink to create a complete winter activity destination — giving your visitors two distinct experiences on the same synthetic ice surface.

As with all Glice products, it requires no refrigeration, no water and no specialist infrastructure — just a flat surface and the Glice panels.

Why add curling?

More activity.
More reasons to stay.

Accessible for everyone

Eisstock curling is easier to learn than traditional curling — making it suitable for young children, older visitors and everyone in between. No skating ability required.

Extends dwell time

Adding curling to your skating rink gives visitors a second activity to enjoy — increasing time spent at your venue and adding value to their visit.

Great for groups & corporate

Curling is inherently social and competitive — making it perfect for corporate events, group bookings, team days and family visits alike.

Works with your rink

Glice curling uses the same synthetic ice panels as the skating rink — so it can be incorporated into your existing Glice installation without any additional surface requirements.
